Removing this fluid helps prevents buildup or scabbing. Excess scabbing can cause loss of color retention. Day 1-7: Blot brows with a clean, damp cotton pad morning and and night. Apply ointment or Aquafore only when needed to treated area. When applying ointment, it is important to not use more than a rice grain amount. The brows should not look glossy, the ointment should be barely noticeable allowing the skin to breathe. If the area feels tight, itchy and dry then it should be treated. Those with excessively oily skin should avoid applying ointment all together because the natural oils are enough to keep it moist. AVOID Increased sweating Physical exercise Swimming Hot sauna, hot bath, jacuzzi Sun tanning or salon tanning Any laser or chemical treatments or peelings, and/or any creams containing retin-A or Glycolic Acid on the face or neck Picking, peeling, or scratching of the micro pigmented area in order to avoid scarring of the area or removal of the pigment Touching of the eyebrow area except for when rinsing and applying the post-care ointment with a cotton swab THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND Before showering apply a thin layer of post-care ointment to protect your eyebrows from moisture or keep your face away from the shower head. Itching and flaking may appear during the first seven days post-microdblading procedure. Do not rub, PICK or scratch the teated area. Correctly following these after-care instructions may help avoid or lesson these symptoms.
